Terriers and running dogs can compliment one another in their hunting success rate. The terrier can be used to flush the prey from its hideout, whether it be a burrow, den or other cover, for the running dog to course and catch.
I have had several Terriers in the past and have found them to be a bit too hardheaded and disobedient for my liking. However, I have quite recently acquired a small miniature foxy Terrier that I have added to my team. Last season I saw her working, and I was very impressed with her ability and skill. She really gets into all the small spaces and flushes anything that might be in hiding. Yes, she too can be a bit disobedient at times, but nowhere near as the terriers I have had in the past. I am really looking forward to taking her out hunting this coming season.

Miniature Foxy Terrier
A proven hunter on rabbits. First class at flushing rabbits from cover and small enough to drag them out of some burrows too. This season will be her first hunting season with me. I will also try her on a few fox dens to see how she deals with foxes.
Breeding plans: None at present.
